Oh my White Rabbit Creamy Candy!! It was banned by the Singapore authority for containing melamine. Dem, I had such a wonderful childhood memories with the candy. It’s sweet and creamy and the part that I love the most is its thin edible paper-like wrapping made from sticky rice. It melts on my tongue
Couldnt remember the last time I eat that candy though.. maybe some 18 odd years ago hehehe..

Hmm what is the problem with melamine contamination in the milk? 4 babies died, and thousands more are sick so far, so yup it deserves the fuss and worldwide attention! Who is that genius that suggests to add melamine (contains high nitrogen, used widely in fertilizer and plastic industries) in the milk at the first place? should you try it first on animals (sorry monkeys) or do some research first before using it for human consumption? cute adorable babies are dying … pity them
I wonder whether the Chinese Government takes this matter seriously. With more than a billion population, a few thousand deaths would not cause any harm to them. Currently, everyone keeps pointing finger and blaming each other. Farmers add water to the fresh milk so they can sell ‘more’ litres of milk i.e to increase profits. Manufacturer receiving a low quality milk, plans to cut cost (it’s expensive if they add other source of protein to the milk) by adding melamine to increase the protein content in the milk because high protein content attracts customers to buy them. The authority in the meantime, fails to detect the presence of dangerous substances in the food all these while. So who is to blame? I know, blame the mothers hahahaha they should breast feed their babies!!
Just as a precaution, stop buying or eating anything that contains milk or milk products (milk, yoghurt, ice-cream, chocolates, biscuits, sweets bla2…..) from China okies!
Hmm.. suddenly I’m glad and proud to be Malaysian!
Thanks 4 the comments!
