Secret Recipe

I am EXTREMELY happy today. Yup, happy happy and happy.  Coz I just have a slice of big fat Chocolate Indulgence @ Secret Recipe. Yummy n yummy! And the ice cold Green Apple Kasturi that goes with it is delicious too (it just that after almost 3 hours, it turns extremely sour when all the ice gone hehe…but I still like it very much!).

I never thought I would be able to hold a 3-hour conversation. But don’t get me wrong, in this case, I only open my mouth maybe for less than 25% of the time..hahaha… My deepest apology to the other party!  Sore throat huh?? sowwi2… n I also discover that listening to someone can be interesting actually. Especially when the topic caught my interests. Politics, poverty, economy, health, hybrid cars? meatball??  hahaha…. what a heavy topic for a light tea time!

Looking back I should not hesitate n have a slice of cheesecake to take away when offered! haha..but my conscience wins againts desire. Hellloooooooo? I preach people to eat healthy but I want to have 2 slices of big fat cake a day?  Shame shame on me!

And finally my baby brother is home! Yeay, got someone to entertain me n to watch US Open with for the next 2 or 3 days.

Interview with the Vampire!

Interview with the Vampire! Love the movie! Honestly, I am a little bit jealous of Kirsten Dunst. She was 11 and got a chance to be cuddled by Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt in a coffin!! Urghh!!! Plus, she received her first kiss from Brad Pitt!

Yesterday  I had my own version of ‘interview with the vampires’ (bear in mind, no cuddling n coffin involved okay!) My vampires are 2 middle aged guys, with lines of white hairs n flabby tummy. No need to jealous or anything. One is a doctor and another one is a Dato’ whose name I donno who is a representative from SPA. The interview was alright. I got no blood sucking medical questions but only few stupid unrelated  questions asked like; Beritahu saya proses pembubaran parlimen..siapa menteri kewangan skrg? apa 4 major persidangan dlm parlimen yg ditunggu2 setiap tahun?  Apa yg awak faham tentang deficit budget? kenapa belanjawan dibentangkan di parlimen? The only medical related Q that I got was, sumone close to you got a disease. KKM tak provide the drug for that disease coz it is too expensive. What will you do? Despite all these crazy Qs, surprisingly, the interview ended in 15 minutes ( of coz it will end in 15 mins when I said “I don’t know” to most of the Qs teeeheehehehe.. plus that’s the advantage for being the last candidate  of the day, interviewer pun dah malas nak tanya soalan byk2 hahahaha..) compared to other candidates in which some of them kene ‘dera’ between 30 to 45 minutes!

Few candidates got medical questions like GCS, management of diabetes, hypertension, type of miscarriage, tocolytics drugs, how to advise a young mother on how count foetal movement and it’s importance, neonatal jaundice, blood tests values, DKA, HONK, bla2…… macam OSCE pule…in fact they were busy discussing and reading medical books at the waiting room! For non-medicals questions, some were fired on apa pendapat anda tentang economy negara skrg ni? apa beza kerajaan vs parlimen? kerajaan pusat vs negeri? apa pendapat anda tentang jambatan MRR2 yg retak? beza dewan rakyat vs dewan negara? bagaimana org biasa seperti anda boleh menjadi menteri kabinet tanpa menjadi wakil rakyat terlebih dahulu? Apa tema hari kebangsaan thn ni? n many more…

Thinking back, I deserved THAT 15 minutes laid back interview. Why?  Because the journey I took that morning..how shall I put it… kinda challenging my patience.  It took almost 2 1/2 hours of standing, waiting, walking, hailing and of course few painful blisters on my feet to finally get there.. isk..isk.. why must they practise perbarisan hari kebangsaan on my interview day?? y?? y?? all jalan close n taxi semua x mo pegi area tu

Well, forget about yesterday. It’s today that matters. Called SPA this morning . They said I’ve passed my interview, and my ‘surat perlantikan‘ is on the way to me. Now, I just need to pray for my posting. Please…just give me the hospitaI that I’ve chosen!

It’s been a while!!! Gosh, i miss updating my blog soooo much

Before I start crapping n writing all the unnessasary things, a special CONGRATULATIONS to my baby brother for his graduations!! yip yip horreyyyyyyy!!!! Well done bro!

Next, my interview with the SPA is just around the corner. And surprisingly, I don’t even know who the Minister of Health is!hahahaha…how scary is that?? Just pray I pass the interview.

I’m losing my best friend..

I’m losing my best friend. We first met each other when we were 17. Spent a week together in physics & add. mathematics camp organised by SBP. But we hardly talked to each other at that time. Our circle of fate continue, this time around when we were both 19. Her BF ( now her hubby) accidently  sent the lovey-dovey SMS to me instead. There the cover blown! ele, kawan je konon..hahaha..both of you should thank me coz I’m no Miss chatty bird or a gossip girl .  I still remember when I waited anxiously for the unconditional offer from Manchester University 5 years ago, a call from her, to say the result was out really made my day. From there on, we became house mate and of course a good friend then later best friend. She might have lots of friends and best mates, but for someone like me who hardly open myself to others, she is the first true best friend I ever had.

I’m losing my best friend. The last  5 years we spent together were among the best years I ever had. Despite the fact that I had to endure British winter and sandwiches, our friendship grew and matured. We came from similar background, similar principle in life, enjoy the same food (yes, we both love FOOD!!!), we travelled together and I could not recall a picture without me and her, we like and perhaps dislike the same persons hehehe.. we have very similar attitude towards life, we know each other habits, we understand each other so much and only to her I share my worries and tears. If there was a person in this world that  is able to describe everything, every single thing about me, that would be her. And most importantly, I loved those cheesecakes she baked for my birthdays.. Owh, I’m gonna miss those cheesecakes on my next birthdays..

I’m losing my best friend. There’s a change of course in our lives, different paths to be taken, different expectations, different hopes and dreams. But one thing is certain, our friendship will neither be lost nor forgotten!

Tonight, I’m losing my best friend. And I’m losing her to a very very very good man. The only one who can make her happy & love her for the rest of her life. To my best friend and her hubby I wish them, all the happiness in the world.
