I’m back!

I’m back! I went to London for 4 days. It was a wet trip. Rain and rain and rain and even thunderstorm! How weird is that to have that kind of weather in London in late May!. There are so many things I would like to write and share, but I’m just too tired right now. Perhaps in my future posts

It sounds like I’m out of my mind, but I am interested in moles fortune telling at the moment. Hmm, I am not going to believe them anyway, it’s just that I’m curious about it. I have 6 of them on my chubby round face. Like how some people like to read their horoscope, I would like to know what my moles mean for fun!

By the way we’ve booked the holiday deals to Lanzarote already. Yeay! But somehow, someone managed to screw up my ‘title’ on the flight ticket. You guys better sort that out!!

Oh, I’m going to London on Tuesday. Will be there for four days. We are going to watch a musical theatre ‘Wicked’, shopping at Oxford Street, do a bit of sight seeing, lunch at Convent Garden, stroll along River Thames and maybe picnic at Hyde Park. I can’t wait for this to happen!

I wanna fly!

Yes that is right. I wanna fly. I need to travel somewhere. Somewhere far..far far away.. A week has passed since my last exam paper, and I am yet to travel out of Manchester. Explore Britain? No thank you. I wanna fly. My new passport is still a ‘virgin’. I want it stamp by a handsome immigration officer hehehehe. Make him spanish or turkish or anybody (as long as he is not British!). I’m going crazy in my room!!!!

I’ve been surfing the internet looking for best deals. Cheap holidays, cheap flight, nice hotels. Lanzarote Island looks promising. Beach holidays for 4 days 3 nights. It just that the offer is in June. But the 3 of us are determined to go! Just wait and see whether we are going to book it tomorrow or not.

In the meantime, I still need to go somewhere. Perhaps a city breakaway for 2 or 3 days. Berlin? Prague? Barcelona? Istanbul?

There is this thing in igoogle called “Things to Ponder”. It always has stupid, funny and sometimes intellectual statements and questions that either make me laugh or wonder. Whenever I feel down or weary, rather than looking for a joke in the internet, I immerse myself with them. There are questions like:

• How do you tell when you are out of invisible ink ?
• If it’s zero degrees outside today and it’s supposed to be twice as cold tomorrow, how cold is it going to be ?
• Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker ?
• Why is a carrot more orange than an orange ?
• Why do scientists call it research when they are looking for something new ?
• If a turtle does not have a shell, is he homeless or naked ?
• Will you die if you get scared half to death twice ?
• What do you do when you see an endangered animal eating an endangered plant ?

Westlife

My housemates and I are supposed to go to the Westlife concert at MEN Arena today. Unfortunately the concert is postponed to the 4th of June because two of the group members (Nicky & Shane) fall sick. As they do not want to disappoint their fans by not giving their best, they rescheduled the date. Urghhhh marah la ni This is my first concert ever. I decided to go because 1) I have never been to any concert before 2) I don’t have anything to do anyway 3) It looks like a proper a.k.a sopan santun concert (got my own seat, and hopefully other people won’t invading my personal space) 4) It’s WESTLIFE!!! who does not love these guys? They are amazing!

Looking from the bright side, there are 12 days to the concert, so in the meantime I can listen to their songs at Youtube. I just realise I only know their ‘old’ songs back in my school days. Songs from the latest album? apparently I only know one ‘Home‘ . Better start ’studying’ the songs now, otherwise I can imagine the scene (at the concert), I will look right and left, then straight to my housemates faces, and innocently ask, eh korang tau ke nie lagu apa?? if that ever happened, it’s definitely a waste of money hahahaha..

Hmm thinking back, there was someone, a junior from my secondary school whose nickname was WESTLIFE. I don’t know who gave him that name, the only thing I remember about him was that during Form 4 freshers’ week, the seniors (I was not involved at all OK), would call him to sing Westlife songs before the end of night prep or was it before giving him a signature?? I’m not so sure. Anyway, I could not imagine what kind of troubles he got at the hostel though hehe….

There you go. My today’s disappointment. Okie dokie, back to Youtube now, gotta sing and sing and sing and sing!

Btw, it’s good that the concert is cancelled, because I have a date at 8pm today. When you think life is so unfair, it does so for a reason ;p
